A simple pursuit, a night on the town,
about twelve blocks from where she was found.
Her thousand yard stare is beyond compare,
bow tie tied in her auburn hair.
Talk of the town, toast of the city,
everyone murmuring "wasn't it a pity."
If she ever goes out, she'll knock back a stout,
but without a doubt, if she ever goes out,
she don't dance.
She never had the chance.

She's got a switchblade stuck behind her smile.
They say the flashbacks stop after a while.

All the boys in the bar spy on her glass.
